In summer 2019, the Danish loudspeaker specialist DALI launched their first wireless headphone models, the IO-6 and IO-4, in the color variants "Iron Black" and "Caramel White". The Danes working at DALI, however, offer this update, as found in the floorstanding speaker Rubicon 6 Black Edition, at almost the same price as the basic version. Their irregular surface structure and a special coating are supposed to give the drivers excellent acoustic properties. The three cone drivers feature membranes made of the reddish mixture of cellulose and wood fibers typical for DALI speakers.

The respectable sound pressure of up to 113 decibels is generated by two huge woofers with a diameter of 230 mm each, a 175 mm midrange driver and a 29 mm fabric tweeter dome tweeter.
After the Danes behind DALI presented the active Oberon C series last month, they now further expand their entry-level series: The new DALI Oberon 9 is almost 1.20 meters high, weighs 37 kg and is equipped with a heavy-duty 3-way system, making it the perfect loudspeaker for spacious to very large living rooms and home theaters.
